Certified through the American Association of Drugless Practitioners

I received my training as a Holistic Health Coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition's cutting-edge Health Coach Training Program.

During my training, I studied over 100 dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques, and innovative coaching methods with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts. My teachers included:

Dr. Andrew Weil, Director of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine

Dr. Deepak Chopra, leader in the field of mind-body medicine

Dr. David Katz, Director of Yale University’s Prevention Research Center

Dr. Walter Willett, Chair of Nutrition at Harvard University

Dr. Mark Hyman, practicing family physician, best-selling author, Director of the Cleveland Clinic Center for Functional Medicine, Founder and Medical Director of The UltraWellness Center, Chairman of the Board of the Institute for Functional Medicine

David "Avocado" Wolfe, best selling author, lead educator and presenter at the annual Longevity Conference, gourmet chocolatier, organic farmer, beekeeper, and a vanilla grower.

Geneen Roth, bestselling author and expert on emotional eating . . . . . . . . . .and many other leading researchers and nutrition authorities.

During the third quarter semester at IIN, in November of 2012, I attended a 3-day workshop at BioMedx in Chicago, Illinois, to understand blood scoping. Yes, I’m a nerd — it was the best 3 days! What made the weekend even better is there was a Naturopath from Texas taking the class as a refresher and he used blood-type nutrition in his practice with everyone that walked through his door. Trust me, we had some great conversations! Unfortunately, I was not able to purchase the $5,000 microscope that I would have needed for clients, but I did prove that the blood-type nutrition was working for myself, as we scoped each other’s blood all weekend. Super fun!

My education has equipped me with extensive knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching, preventative health — and I am constantly researching and learning, as I plan on doing for the rest of my life. Every day we discover new things about the body. I want to keep an open mind and open ears to learn what is new and exciting, because I want to work with clients to help them make lifestyle changes that produce real and lasting results. After all, good health has to become a lifestyle!
