Please note that Koreans call skincare steps “Rituals.” Koreans are famous for double cleansing in those “Rituals.” It is a must in the care of their beautiful “glass skin” they are so famous for.
I will also point out that when Americans see “sets” of products, they assume it is less expensive to buy products in a set. That is not true with Riman. If you add up each individual product you see in any of the “sets,” you’ll find they add up to the same price as the “set.” I say this, because if there is something in one of the “sets,” like the sunscreen in the EX Line Essential Ritual set that you would rather not have, you can buy each of the products in that set, separately, and exchange the sunscreen for a product, like the Calming Gel, as it has flecks of gold, which is fabulous for the skin.

Let’s talk about who Riman is — and why this K-Beauty company is so very special.
There is a very big difference between K-Beauty skincare vs Korean skincare. For a skincare company to come under the umbrella of the K-Beauty category, which is the highest quality skincare, the company must be a Korean company, based out of South Korea, where its ingredients are sourced, grown and manufactured in Korea. Then those products are shipped from their facility in Korea to whatever country the company has gotten approval to sell their products.
There are lots of companies touting they have Korean skincare, but it can be a white-labeled Korean product(s), or a company can source some of their ingredients from Korea to manufacturer the product(s) in their country, i.e., the U.S. or France. They can still be great products, but they are not K-Beauty products.
Riman has banned over 3,000 ingredients that they will not use in their product lines. Considering many tout the EU standards as good, the EU only bans about 1,400 ingredients — and we won’t even get into what the U.S. allows. Just know, skincare has been found to have some of the most toxic ingredients — and our skin is our largest organ.
Korean skincare is proactive, focuses on hydration and protection, and uses heritage ingredients passed down from generation to generation.
