That’s where I come in as a health coach/educator. I work together with people who have decided if they have one life to live, they want to live it to its fullest. They want to reach those goals that have been unattainable in the past and are motivated to change their lives. Ultimately, they want to stay out of the doctor’s office and learn how easy it is to get back in the kitchen.
I believe in getting back to basics, and I have never liked the word "diet." Diets are too complicated, too restricting, and every time I went on one I gained weight!
Actually, the original definition of “diet” in the Merriam Webster dictionary is — “habitually taken food and drink.” But, diet was also used in another sense in the Middle and early modern English periods to mean “way of living.”
I like that so much better — ”way of living.”
Good health should not be difficult! Who wants to count calories? It is just too frustrating! I believe if you find the foods that are right for your body, you can eat whatever you want. As the saying goes “One man’s food is another man’s poison.”

I have been gluten-free for over two decades — and ate a Paleo diet during that time. Now, I’ve completely cut grains out of my diet, as I’ve switched to the Carnivore way of eating.
I also understand the importance of minerals, why they are so deficient in our foods, and what is happening to our bodies because of these mineral deficiencies. Minerals are the spark plugs of our bodies. It’s not really about the soil being depleted, rather it’s about the oxalates in the plants that are there to protect the plants!
Unfortunately, oxalates don’t do the same for our bodies, rather they can cause quite a lot of health issues for us.
Life isn't a dress rehearsal, it's the real thing. Whether it's good or bad, you don't get to live today over again. Celebrate the good, learn from the bad. My oldest son once said, "Just because you are alive doesn't mean you are really living." I had to think about that one for a while.

If you want continuing support and someone to answer quick questions, we can set up a monthly $50 charge for that to happen, which, of course, will be done remotely by a text or email. I do not do health coaching programs anymore, because attaining good health is NOT hard, but it does mean YOU have to make up your mind to change. We ALL fall off the wagon at times. All you have to do is pick yourself back up the next day, then move forward. To give up, because you fell off for a day or two, is like popping the other three tires, because you had ONE flat tire. Pick yourself up…and start again. I have yet to meet a perfect person. Life happens — we are all human!
Honestly, most people meet with me for an hour, pick my brain, then decide if they want to change. I will walk beside anyone who wants to change, but I will NOT drag them along. It’s your journey — and only you can decide if you want to live a better, a healthier, and a longer life. I have learned to be pretty point blank, because sometimes we need someone to kick us in the pants.
