. . . . . . because good health is not complicated!

I received my training as a Holistic Health Coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition's Health Coach Training Program.

During my training, I studied over 100 dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques, and innovative coaching methods with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts. My teachers there included:

Dr. Andrew Weil, Director of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine

Dr. Deepak Chopra, leader in the field of mind-body medicine

Dr. David Katz, Director of Yale University’s Prevention Research Center

Dr. Mark Hyman, practicing family physician, best-selling author, Director of the Cleveland Clinic Center for Functional Medicine, Founder and Medical Director of The UltraWellness Center, Chairman of the Board of the Institute for Functional Medicine

David "Avocado" Wolfe, best selling author, lead educator and presenter at the annual Longevity Conference, gourmet chocolatier, organic farmer, beekeeper, and a vanilla grower.

Geneen Roth, bestselling author and expert on emotional eating . . . . . . . . . .and many other leading researchers and nutrition authorities.

During the third quarter semester attending IIN, in November of 2012, I attended a 3-day workshop at BioMedx in Chicago, Illinois, to understand blood scoping. Yes, I’m a nerd — it was the best 3 days! What made the weekend even better, there was a Naturopath from Texas taking the class as a refresher. Trust me, we had some great conversations.

I chose not to purchase the $5,000 microscope that I would have needed for clients, because there were too many legal implications by our government trying to suppress correct information. In plain words — keeping people in their system of sick care. I continue to get their emails and I am VERY encouraged to see more and more medical professionals taking their courses, wanting to know what they didn’t learn in medical school.

I have taken a few other courses after graduating — a couple from Dr. Stephanie Rimka, the neurofeedback doctor who introduced me to Carnivore and Sally Norton, the queen of oxalate education. I have also taken one of Sally’s classes, devoured her book “Toxic Superfoods,” and am awaiting her certification course for oxalate education.

I continue collecting and reading books upon books, always wanting to know more, more, and more.

FINALLY, we are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel to shed light on the lies, shed light on the truths.

The greatest time to be alive is NOW.

Every day we discover new things about the body.

Every day we are learning about the misinformation that has brainwashed us about health and food.

I will ALWAYS stay open-minded, continue to educate myself, learn what’s new out there.

It’s just part of who I am.

This is exactly why I changed to a Carnivore way of eating!

I want to keep an open mind and open ears to learn what is new and exciting, because I want to work with clients to help them make lifestyle changes that produce real and lasting results — helping them sort through all the misinformation.

After all, good health has to become a lifestyle!
